Graduation Tiers
Crowd.Credit uses a five-tier graduation system. As you demonstrate responsible credit behavior and build your CrowdProof reputation, you unlock better terms, higher limits, and unsecured credit.

Tier Details
SECURED_ONLY
The entry tier for all new users. Your credit line is fully backed by your deposited collateral.
Requirements:
- Connected wallet with CrowdProof DID
- KYC verified (Verified level or higher)
- Minimum deposit of $100 equivalent
Benefits:
- Credit line up to 80% of collateral value
- Virtual card access
- Yield earning on deposits
BUILDING
The first advancement tier. You have demonstrated basic payment reliability.
Requirements:
- CrowdProof score >= 450
- Account active for at least 30 days
- At least 3 on-time payments
- No defaults or late payments in last 30 days
Benefits:
- Credit line up to 100% of collateral value
- Reduced interest rates (see Interest Rates)
- Physical card eligibility (with Full KYC)
ESTABLISHED
The gateway to unsecured credit. Your on-chain history demonstrates consistent, responsible behavior.
Requirements:
- CrowdProof score >= 600
- Account active for at least 90 days
- At least 12 on-time payments
- No defaults in last 90 days
- Credit utilization below 70% average over last 60 days
Benefits:
- Unsecured credit up to 50% of collateral value
- Total credit line up to 150% of collateral
- Further interest rate reductions
- Priority support
PRIME
Reserved for users with strong, consistent credit behavior and high on-chain reputation.
Requirements:
- CrowdProof score >= 720
- Account active for at least 180 days
- At least 24 on-time payments
- No defaults in last 180 days
- Credit utilization below 50% average over last 90 days
- Minimum $5,000 in total repayments
Benefits:
- Unsecured credit up to 150% of collateral value
- Total credit line up to 250% of collateral
- Best interest rates in standard tiers
- Dedicated account manager
- Premium metal card upgrade
PREMIUM
The highest tier, for top-reputation users with extensive track records.
Requirements:
- CrowdProof score >= 800
- Account active for at least 365 days
- At least 48 on-time payments
- Zero defaults ever
- Credit utilization below 40% average over last 180 days
- Minimum $25,000 in total repayments
- No fraud flags
Benefits:
- Unsecured credit up to 400% of collateral value
- Total credit line up to 500% of collateral
- Lowest available interest rates
- Concierge support
- Travel and purchase perks
- Early access to new features
Tier Advancement
Tier upgrades are evaluated automatically every 24 hours by the scoring engine. When you meet all requirements for the next tier, you are promoted immediately and notified via email and in-app notification.
Tier Protection
If your CrowdProof score temporarily dips below your current tier's minimum, you have a 30-day grace period before demotion. This protects against short-term score fluctuations caused by market volatility.
Demotion
If you fail to meet tier requirements after the grace period, or if you miss payments or incur defaults, you may be demoted. Demotion reduces your credit line, which may require you to repay the excess balance within 30 days.
Score Improvement Tips
- Make all payments on time -- Payment history is the strongest factor
- Keep utilization low -- Using less than 30% of your credit line is ideal
- Maintain deposits -- Longer deposit history improves your score
- Diversify on-chain activity -- DeFi participation, governance votes, and development activity all contribute to your CrowdProof score
- Avoid defaults -- A single default can set you back significantly
